Connect a gateway in five steps

  1. In Stripe gateways, select Add. Enter a recognizable name and dedicated checkout domain.
  2. Copy the wizard’s A record into your domain provider and check again.
  3. When the domain is ready, enter the publishable and secret or restricted key from the same Stripe account.
  4. Choose whether to offer a membership. If enabled, select a recurring price and trial days.
  5. Review, save, activate the gateway and add it to payment routing.

Open gateway details

Select a gateway to review available account details, balances, payments, customers, memberships, payouts and issues. Check the update time. If data is missing, refresh and review the reason: an empty screen does not prove there is no activity.

When Stripe needs information

Review requirements or restrictions shown for the account. Open the relevant notice and complete the request in Stripe when needed. Atlas helps surface the issue; some verifications and documents must be completed directly with Stripe.

Enable, disable, archive or delete

Disabling stops new assignments. A checkout already assigned to the account can continue with it. Archiving sets aside a connection you no longer use. Before deleting, review dependencies and Atlas’s confirmation notice. These actions do not automatically cancel memberships still active in Stripe.

Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay

Card fields appear in checkout and express options are shown when supported by the device and account. Check Apple Pay on a device with a card in Wallet; check Google Pay in a supported environment. If the bank requests verification, the buyer can complete it during payment. Not every device will show every wallet.
